Ike Runnels won the 8 ball Heineken International 8 Ball Pool Tournament in Jamaica which was held July 5-6. I believe they had a field of 64 players. He defeated last year's champion to take 1st place.

Congrats to Ike.

Also, congrats to Stretch and Danny for hosting a successful event!

Ike gets a nice vacation in the Islands and wins a pool tournament to help with expenses. It doesn't get any better than that! Way to go, Ike!

100K is a mighty nice number for sure, but I'm wondering how this Jamaican tournament with $125,000 first prize monies got by without any mention on this forum!

Just read the poster Susie posted in US dollars it is considerably less. Way Less. On second thought I don't think there will be too many Yanks making there way over there to take off that tournament. Maybe Ike was on vacation and needed some extra spending money.
