Just got back from Michael's. John went undefeated in the bank tournament and beat Manny Chow 23-8 in the finals. Congrats to John on another great win, and congrats to Truman and Michael for putting on such a great bank pool tournament.

The format was a full rack race to 23 balls. Here are the results:

1st - John Brumback
2nd - Manny Chow
3rd - Mark Jarvis
4th - Chris Gentile
5th/6th - Tim Heath
5th/6th - Shannon Murphy

John put on amazing clinic like performance in the finals...it was sweet to watch
 
Gotta agree with my compadres Casey & Jamie.. John is just on another level of banks than just about anyone else on the planet.. It was such a treat to get to watch him do his thing..

One match, John was down 21-16 to Chris Gentile. He showed great heart and amazing safety play and ended up winning that match 23-21. How flipping strong is that? "Stonger than dirt" as the Worminator would say!!
 
I'm beginning to think it's not a fluke with this Brumback fellow winning so many of these things. :D

Congrats!

John, with your instructional DVD just now coming out, it was great timing to knock off this win. Looking forward to seeing you at DCC.
