Congrats to Justin Bergman he wins Carom Room Classic

no the guy they were talking about was not bobby
i had never seen this guy before but after seeing the
guy play i will never forget him he was brutal to watch lol

I wont forget him either, I must have laughed for a couple minutes straight at one point......Not knocking the guy as a player, he was Playing Dennis Haar fairly late in the tourney so he must play good. I'm not sure if i've ever seen anything quite like it....

From the stream I watched early Sunday morning, it sure appeared he was playing in a tee shirt. Perhaps that is acceptable dress at that event. Like someother posters on AZ, I'd prefer to have the players at least look somewhat dignified when representing the game. Sorry. JMHO.

Lyn

he seems to be wearing a shirt with a collar to me in the picture.....are you looking for a suit and tie?

Gotcha. No I agree with you. He dresses like, well like someone his age. But I'm sure Mark will make sure he steps it up a bit if he makes the team, which I'm going to bet will.

I went up to Beloit Saturday and saw lots of old friends from my past and got to make some new ones as well. Had many interesting experiences and conversations. Several of the players I spoke with felt like I did, wish they had nine foot tables to play on. I guess I am just not a bar box kind of guy, NOT that there is anything wrong with that!! The tournament folks, live streamers and employees were all fantastic doing an exemplary job!!!

Terry is good people!

Nice post Terryhanna.

You left so fast after the final match (understandably as we were all tired and it was late), you missed being thanked for your contributions, both over the stream by Scott and in the stream chat. Terry added a lot of relevant & important insight about the players and their previous accomplishments at other events.

Terry flat out knows this stuff and it's always a pleasure to see Terry sign into the chat. On top of that, Terry is just a fun and easy going person to interact with in general and I/we respect and enjoy what he has to say. As always, we look forward to seeing you in chat for future events.

With much respect.
Dopc.

Edit: I tried to throw you a greenie, but AZB stated I must spread some around first. It's the thought that counts, right?

At the Mosconi all players wear matching shirts.

Thanks Dopc for the good words you and Big Truck Scott and HelpDesk always do a great job
on the stream some of the good guys in pool for sure.
I really started this thread to try and give Justin some positive exposure the kid is a great young
player and proves it week after week and i am glad to see almost all the posts in this thread have been positive.

The person that drove u nuts in the red u said was the former Speed Pool champ? I think u meant Bobby Mcgrath right? He had on Shorts and wild socks....He's a friend of mine here in Peoria....If thats who u were talking about I saw him on the table above the streamer and yeah, he seemed to be playing slower and cautious which is unlike him! Lol...He ain't shy either!

No... Bobby McGrath was a speed pool champ, but not the guy in red with the crooked baseball cap that I was referring to. That was billy "the kid" Lasee. He was a 2007 world speed pool regional champion as well as the winner of many other regular pool titles.

I admit he has a very odd preshot routine-setup...but he plays reeeaaaalllll strong.
Just google him and check out his bio on the jacoby custom cues web site.
