From what i have read he was down 7-4 with Darren on the hill and came back to win. And then in the Finals he was down 5-3 to Dennis Orcollo and put together five racks to win 8-5. Congrats to one of the classiest players in the game for being 6x World Pool Master.
 
Did the WPA actually grant him the title of World Pool Master? We don't want to start another dispute ;)

Definitely a great player. Almost never makes an unforced error. Just wish he played a bit faster
 
What a great and consistent player. Probably the most underrated player ever. He wins major after major after major and yet hardly gets much in the way of accolades. This is now his 6th World pool masters title! Amazing.
 
to the front page. De Liberto said sometimes they beat him, but you have to beat him, he never gives one away. Ralf has been consistantly in the top 3 percent.
 
Ralph is a great champ. Plays consistent and always looks in good form when he plays. He is what we all look for in an opponent, tough to beat and makes hls opponent perform to the best of their ability.

Ralf played GREAT! Flawless under pressure and made several terrific run outs. Ralf has the best composure of any player in pool today and he handles his nerves and emotions better than any player I've ever seen! Never flustered and never rushed, he goes about his business in the same methodical way shot after shot. You can't tell if he's ahead or behind just watching him play. He plays at the same pace either way, going through the same routine on every shot. He is the pro's pro, the "gold standard" for professional pool today. Ralf's had an amazing two decades that garnered him election to the HOF on his first ballot. And he's still in the prime of his career at age 43!

Good for Ralf, hes a real cool ,down to earth guy, glad to hear that yet again,he excels at his craft.

what is the schedule for the world cup of pool? what is the format? why would it take for a week to finish? less tables or double elimination?
