My bud Ray Linares (rayshooter here on az) just won the 2010 collegiate nationals in Michigan. Ray lost his first match and then won 11 matches in a row in the losers bracket to snap it off! Ray put in huge hours of preparation since the beginning of this year so he could first win regionals and then come prepared for the national event.

Big props to Ray, I could not be happier for the guy.
 
Ray is a great player and a great person to hang out with. This is a great accomplishment, and the result of A LOT of hard work and dedication. Congratulations, Ray!

It means alot coming from you guys. Knowing how much has gone into preparing for this it feels great to pull it off... especially after losing my first match... it's almost like destiny... right dave? lol in all seriousness thanks again for everything... u guys are awesoe...

Of course, it takes more than playing good pool to come from behind and win like that. It also takes physical stamina and a strong mental game. I know you've trained hard in all of those areas, and it shows. Congratulations on a well-earned victory!
