Hi all,

Well, the first tournament is over....and I would like to say a huge congratulations to Sarah Rousey for her highest finish in a WPBA tournament to date. I am soooooo proud of her! She really is a superstar and I am looking forward to seeing her in a TV match this year...hopefully beating the tar out of someone in the finals!

Also, I'd like to thank Sarah for keeping everyone posted on my results. Since I don't have a laptop yet, she took it upon herself to let everyone know my match results, and that is really cool!

Anyhow, I played pretty well is my frist 2 matches, but faltered a little with Melissa Little. I was struggling to pocket balls on the break, so I never really was able to find a rhythm, and that is tough to overcome. I played Angel Paglia on Saturday morning, and she played really tough. A couple of good rolls gave me the match, but congratulations to Angel for getting her final Pro Point and achieving Touring Pro status in this event!

Thanks to everyone for the support!

All the Best,

Melissa Herndon

Thank you Melissa, not only for the compliment and congrats, but for being a great friend. Your support really helped me out. I hope to do the same for you. You had a good finish too. I know not as high as you would like, but we are both right there. Everyone needs to watch out. Hopefully soon we will be trying to beat the tar out of each other in the finals!

Take care and I'm glad you had a safe trip home.
Sarah

To Sarah and Melissa, CONGRATULATIONS, you girls are making your dreams come true. Keep up the determination and great things will happen. Always enjoy your playing time whether it's practicing or playing matches. It makes things easier. I read an article about Ronnie Allen one time that said " if you're doing something you love for a living it's like making an extra $50,000 a year". That was written in the 80's, So it's probably worth $500,000 now. Sam
