Hi all,
Well, the first tournament is over....and I would like to say a huge congratulations to Sarah Rousey for her highest finish in a WPBA tournament to date. I am soooooo proud of her! She really is a superstar and I am looking forward to seeing her in a TV match this year...hopefully beating the tar out of someone in the finals!
Also, I'd like to thank Sarah for keeping everyone posted on my results. Since I don't have a laptop yet, she took it upon herself to let everyone know my match results, and that is really cool!
Anyhow, I played pretty well is my frist 2 matches, but faltered a little with Melissa Little. I was struggling to pocket balls on the break, so I never really was able to find a rhythm, and that is tough to overcome. I played Angel Paglia on Saturday morning, and she played really tough. A couple of good rolls gave me the match, but congratulations to Angel for getting her final Pro Point and achieving Touring Pro status in this event!
Thanks to everyone for the support!
All the Best,
Melissa Herndon
