congrats to Team Schmidt(J.S.,Gary H.,Bill M.)

Both players could have played better, but Schmidt reaffirmed his place near the top echelon of u.s. players.

Great shooting John! You took on another tough player and showed a lot of heart at the end. Jason is no bargain for anyone! In fact, I think he was the betting favorite on here. I had no problem getting action on this match. I only bet a few dollars but could have bet much more. I personally like Jason a lot, and have bet on him several times before. Successfully I might add.

But somehow, I felt that you were the best player in this spot. For several reasons that I won't go into here. It was a tough call, but I liked you in this match. I think you may have finally put to rest all those doubters out there. John, you ARE one of the top players in this country! And you proved it once again. I like that you can play all games too. You're not a "one trick" pony.

If there is an All Around Challenge that includes Straight Pool, I'm taking John against all comers. He is a throwback to the days of Sigel, Mizerak, Hopkins, Rempe, Varner and Fusco. All guys who played every game jam up. Once again, good shooting John. You played good when you had to!

Never a doubt!

I picked both winners of the TAR match-ups!

I'm with you all the way Jay. John has certainly proved he knows how to win and playing all games well shows his dedication to the sport. Congrats to John and my long time friend Gary " I can't book a loser" Henry.
