Okay, you got a bet. Before everyone calls me on this one. Don't bother. My gut instinct is this is not my best bet I've ever made. It's just a little sweat bet between Roy and I.

Due to the fact that the WPC is only two weeks later and there are other things to keep the filipinos over there, I have no idea who is coming this year. I'm really crossing my fingers that five or six of them show up. I'm not counting on Jose to win that's for sure.

I know they are planning a Pool Showdown, a televised show that will run from September till November, with a weekly ringgame. They are trying to mix it up with 12 Filipinos and 6 foreigners, where 4 & 2 will play each week.

Hope Efren, Django, Alcano and Orcullu is busy in Manila that week playing ringgame :D

pinoy is an accepted slang for Filipino. So pretty much anyone can call us filipinos pinoy without offending us :)

Don't hate on the Pearl. You have to admit.........nobody on the planet had to like it when his game was in FULL EFFECT!

This photo was taken from the finals of the 2000 U.S. Open which he WON (his 5th US OPEN win in fact). He got a bad roll....LOL.

There will never be another Earl the Pearl!

lol! I'll take a rain check on that one B! Attending tournaments is a li'l bit
expensive nowadays, I'm more into my "other mistress", which is boxing.
It only takes a day while major pool tournaments needs days, sometimes
as much as 2 weeks (WPC) to finish.

Just give me a holler if you swing by S. Cali or my homebase SD, and the first
drinks are on me!
