A great big congratulations to Karen Corr for winning the Joss Tour Event in Providence R.I.. Beating out 59 other players......Way to go Karen.......mike

I saw Karen at the event. A couple of notes. First, I swear that woman hasn't aged a bit since the last time I saw her about 10 years ago. Second, she still looks trim and fit. Just goes about her business and demolishes you. So much for women not being able to beat the boys!

I remember reading about a tournament where Karen beat Jim Rempe twice to win the tournament. I can't remember which tournament it was, but it made a believer out of me that she can play with the men.

James.... I believe that was a tournament in Conn. where she had to beat him twice in the finals. Then she turned around and beat him again at the Adirondack billiards stop on the Joss Tour the same year. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong..........................mike
