Congratulations to Dennis Hatch MVP of the Mosconi Cup and America's Choice!!

Thank you Dennis

Dennis represented us well with his play at the table, his desire and his demeanor. He showed that he can be a team player as well as a true leader of men. Thank you for helping to make this years Mosconi Cup a memorable one.

Thanks

Thank you Dennis for being a positive force on the team and for your great shot making. Can we vote again for you for next year, right now?

Dennis is a player that many people, until now didn't realize how strong he is. I had the pleasure of watching him when he was a kid in Buffalo, and he was more of a player at 18 than most pros will ever be in their careers. As said many times in prior posts, he has a very high gear, a gear so big, only a few in the world, can keep pace. I'm so happy to see that this very talented champion of the game had a chance to show his abilities on an international stage and help a great US team to a dominant victory. Congratulations Dennis and I hope this performance shines a very bright and positive light of your future. Great!

Yep, that Dennis Hatch did something very special up there this event. Maybe next year they should change the name of the event to The Hatch Cup!:D

I'm not sure if anyone remembers but early on in the Mosconi Cup, I predicted or maybe just suggested that Dennis Hatch should be MVP not only because of his sterling play, but his ferocious competitive spirit, his patriotic fervor but most importantly the comraderie and enthusiasm that he brought to the U.S. Mosconi Cup Team.

Dennis is deserving of the MVP award for sure.

I think it's safe to say that this was probably the most exciting Mosconi cup I've ever watched and 90% of that was due to Dennis! The positive enthusiasm he brought to the whole event was undeniable...

The guy put his heart out on his sleeve for the world to see! Not only made for great drama and a fabulous rooting for the "underdogs story", but for the whole team to then back it up with stellar play was something to see! This combined with Dennis keeping them pumped up, playing phenomenally and to then end up winning the MVP, after having been voted on in the first place, you couldn't write a better story!

The whole USA team played great, they played like a team, and for once in a really long time, you really felt like their hearts were in it. You really couldn't help but get a little choked up for them all by how excited they were, especially Dennis!

Way to go Dennis...no matter what you decide to do with the rest of your pool career, this is one of those moments they'll never be able to take away from you...and you earned it!

I usually don't pile on with the accolades; however, in this case it is very much deserved.

Phenomenal job Dennis!!!! Words can't even express your play over the weekend. You are definitely the man!!!! Congrats on your play and your well deserved MVP!

Congratulations, well deserved without a doubt.

The ONLY player that understood what Mosconi Cup is all about! Heart, passion, determination and awesome play.

Well done...

See you next year in Europe, Dennis. We'll get that trophy back.

HUH????? I was there and saw many players on both teams play their heart out..........Dennis was NOT the only one....

edited to add: but Dennis was the most emotional!! He was simply awesome!!!

I didn't vote for Hatch. Obviously I made a mistake. Glad he came through with superb play and heart. You can't help root for a guy who puts everything he can out on the line and show it with emotion. Both teams played well. I thought Europe was going to walk away with this one. It's not always skill alone that can win a match. Congrats team U.S.A. Europe will be back and hungry next year.

I only have one thing to say about this whole operation...

Where, oh, where, are my v-chippies? I only had 25, and dag nab it, I want to enjoy my v-winnings.

With Team USA being the dog at 5-to-1 odds, and Team Europe being the favorite at 3-2, this is one sweet v-win, I'll say! :grin-square:

Congratulations Dennis on being an incredible force in your first Mosconi Cup! You were the nuts this week!

I sincerely hope that this is a springboard to some great sponsorships, some major titles and the first of many Mosconi Cup highlights.

Tap, tap, tap, sir!
