Yes there are many unknown/less known or unpronounceable players who can win a major
IMHO ,there are at least 4 dozen known/familiar players (1st tier and 2nd tier) who can win such a strong field
Then add to that another 1 dozen "unknown/never heard of/ under the radar" players who can win whole thing so around half the field can win whole thing.
If the top players eliminate each other early and these unknowns get a good draw, they may just win the whole thing or finish in top 4

Wu is the one to beat. But he is new and not acclimatised to US so don't see him winning this year. Probably last 8 or last 4 finish :smile:

Indeed it will be hard for him to overcome that factor, but you never know. Especially if he brings his China Open form with him. I'm very curious to see what kind of impact Wu will have in this year's tournament. Congrats to whoever convinced him to play the US Open, it will do the tournament a world of good. Cracking line-up!:thumbup:
