The contest has taken its course, and there are some excellent contributions to this thread. Leave it to AzBilliards' readers to come up with innovative and creative ideas! :)

I only have one program to award to a winner, and for the life of me, I am having trouble picking one. I wish I had four extra programs.

LAMas, Island Drive, Juegabillar, and Black Dragon really seem to have a grasp on what could help elevate an international pool tour, and I thought their posts were well thought out and really hit the mark.

My thanks go out to all who took the time to write down their thoughts!

I agree wioth your choice. Puerto Rico has a soft spot in my heart. Especially Peppino (S.Sebastian).

Whoa! Yeepee! Thanks JAM! I just read the entire thread, and I am happy that the thread was kept civil for all purposes, with some great contributions made by the participants. Maybe we can gather all thoughts and write a document that could be of some assistance to promoters/sponsors of future events; including the IPT, if it ever survives.

I have sent you the requested PM, and I look forward to reviewing the Program. It will definitely be a very nice keepsake.

The 2005 IPT King of the Hill Program arrived today. Just 3 days after it was sent from D.C. Very interesting program with information about IPT Tournament Format, Brief on IPT 8 Ball Rules, How to Read Round Robin Score Sheets, short Bio's on the selected players for the event, plus a very nice article originally published by Billiards Digest and written by Bob Jewet titled "A Brief History of the Rules of 8 Ball."

Definitely a very nice "keep-sake" about the IPT. Thanks JAM!

As the years go by here on AzBilliards, I have been privileged to read some of the finest pool material from around the world. It is always interesting to learn from others.

Thanks for the compliments JAM, :o, you made me blush....anyway, I return the compliments back to you since you have been one of the most prolific posters of this forum, I do like your style, and you have my utmost respect. Hope to see you again at the tournament trail!
