Cool Pics From Vegas

At the beginning of October me and the wifey went to Vegas for a little adult time. We always stay downtown, we prefer the feel and atmosphere of downtown over the strip. Well while I was looking at stuff to do around the hotel we stayed at I came across "The Antique Room" in the Main Street Station. The stuff I read said there were some cool antique pool tables in there so we checked it out while we were there. It was awesome, the tables are beautiful. All you can do is look at them from about 15 feet away and take pics but as a pool table mechanic I really enjoyed seeing these tables. I put pics below, the last pic is just to show you how long they had that cue propped up on the bridge.

Look at these beautiful 9 fters, and check out the Brunswick rack, that thing is amazing

And the warped cue

Like I said, there's not much else to do here but if you appreciate beautiful tables you will enjoy this place.

Also while we were there we stopped by Best Billiards and played for about an hour. The place is so nice and clean it was great. The tables are kept in great shape for a pool hall. They had 7ft Diamonds, 9ft Diamonds, some billiards tables, and the 10 ft heated slate pool table. The place was nice and I'd definitely recommend playing there if you're in Vegas.

Those tables are beautiful! Thanks for the pics. What is that thing around the warped cue?

Oh sorry, it was a snooker table. Not sure of the maker though. That table was really beautiful, the pics do not do it justice at all.

That is a shame something so beautiful cannot be used. Where is this place? I go to Vegas a lot and would love to check it out.

Just got back from Vegas again. Had to make it back down to Best Billiards. I was there for my bachelor party so I didn't think I was going to be able to visit this trip but before we left we stopped in to get something to eat and knock some around. Food was excellent by the way and my 2 buddies who have never been couldn't stop talking about how nice the equipment was and how friendly the staff was. I agree 100%, top notch establishment. Here's a few pics of myself on one of the Diamond 9 footers.

If you are in Vegas, definitely stop by Best Billiards. And for those who were wondering about the antique tables above, they are in "The Antique Room" in the Main Street Station downtown. Its on the second floor and there are no signs telling you where it is just an elevator with a sign over it that says "Lift" right ion the middle of the casino on the street side. Check it out, I took my 2 buddies who are also my helpers and have been around thousands of tables with me and they were blown away.
