Ok, Sounds like you guys want to see them.

I have not viewed it yet, but I am guessing that Corey might clean the balls mid run.

Now let's discuss patterns and leave the discussion on cleanliness to those people in the other thread that find that more interesting.

I remember one of the World Championships, Bill and I were watching Corey and a few racks in we started noticing, he was using side pocket shots as break balls, where the cue was above and in the kitchen. He was bumping legitimate side of the rack break shots up towards the side pocket.

I know in some of these runs at Bill's house he was experimenting with Ray Martin and Lou Figueora's favorite break shot, below the rack break shots.
I remember in a match between Rempe and Hopkins, Hopkins was doing the same thing, bumping a break shot low to change it to a bottom of the rack break shot. Great cue ball control and interesting to watch. Game within a game.

I don't know if Corey is doing anything like that here, but he is always great to watch because he is usually making some unconventional moves.

the below-the-stack break is severely underestimated, imo.

it doesn't usually open the pack as completely as a side-of-the-stack break, but positioning the cue ball after it is Extremely reliable, even for someone at my level. which is not something you can say for most other breaks; despite the amount of time spent measuring where the cueball's going to hit the pack, most smash'n'grab breaks end up with the cueball in some random place, and often on the top rail.

after watching Cory run about 300 in two innings wearing the same shirt, same day?? I notice a couple things.
only a couple times does he need to check his angle, i mean to check where the cueball is going to be after he makes the shot. Actually that is the only thing I noticed, except that Cory plays the game good, no question. He knows when to finess it or hit it hard. He doesn't get stuck like I do. Much better speed control and position. And he doesn't feel like missing very often. that last shot where he said he saw himself missing only goes to tell ya how delicate the game can be, even for a player like cory. Quite a few times I could predict the last few shots. and other times I was surprised at the outcome. Great pool. Pro Player.
Bills table is developing quite a history..

The funny thing is Corey won the UPA 9 ball Tournament at the Bicycle Club on this exact same table. I purchased it right after the Tournament ended. I didn't know Corey or John at the time. Funny how things happen.
