I saw it a couple times on TV years ago, but I haven't seen it on youtube. I think it was at the Mosconi cup.

The cue ball was frozen to the head rail, the two ball is down table a ways. He jacks up and draws the cue ball back to the head rail and it bounces out with spin for shape on the next ball.

It was at the 2003 Mosconi Cup. Amazing shot! Niels Feijen was in the crowd and he was in awe. And Niels hits the tough shots real sporty himself :)

I heard Cory practiced this shot for three years for it finally to come up in a match. Shame he couldn't finish the run out, though. I guess even top players lose concentration after a great shot. I know I do :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkK0_2KtBi4 at the 40 minute mark.

Thank you thank you, yes, that's the shot. :)

this shot destroys the mosconi cup one imo

Disagree. While this is still an extremely difficult shot with a stroke that I will never have, the accuracy and stroke required for the Mosconi shot far exceeds that one.

For those that link to Youtube videos, here is what you add to the end of the link to go to a specific time on that video:

&t=xxmxxs <---replace the underlined "xx" with actual numbers

For example: if you want to link to a video that starts at 1 minute and 23 seconds into it you would add this to the end of the link: &t=01m23s

Or

Just learned this one while looking for info for this post, pause the video in question at the time you want to link and right click. One option will be "get video URL at current time", just click the "close" button on the pop-up window and paste the link wherever you want to.

Here is a great page with more options on how to post a link to a YouTube video starting at a certain time, all will show the entire video it will just start wherever you want it to. Hope this helps, please keep sharing these inspiring and amazing shots!!
