If I wanted to core the front of a shaft say with carbon fiber.
Has anyone tried this.
What size, depth, and did you get results you were looking for?
Have anyone tried to core with anything else?

Yes that's possible. 3/8" carbon fibre rod worked just fine for me. Pretty stiff hit.

Yes, i and many here have been doing this for quite awhile It{s a learning process

Other than reinforcing the top couple of inches, stiffening up the top of the shaft doesn't help the deflection situation. IMHO

I d a full 29" CF tube core, but only for break shafts. To me, only loading the front with stiffness only adds deflection, JUST my own thoughts.
Share your thoughts on why you think this. I'm not totally against what you are saying, however curious as what you are basing your theory on.
I can shoot with anything, however the cue/ shaft being tweaked is a dangerous tool for those that know how to use it
