I'm pretty sure most are at least partially coring the front end to reduce mass, but I would think almost any of them would skip that part if you asked.
Off the top of my head, I know Ryan at RAT Cue Repair doesn't core them unless you request it.
I'm pretty sure Schmelke is all solid, but a call to Dave would confirm that.
Diviney's Trans-K is lightened, but I bet if you ask Pat, he'd make it any way you want.
Could also talk to Jeff Prather and either have him build it to your specs or buy one of his blanks to give to the cue maker of your choice. Jeff sorts/grades his stuff and since he was one of, if not the first, to use Torrefied shafts on pool cues, I doubt you'd find anyone that knows more about it.

What is your take on Richard Hsu and his well known Hsunami shafts?
I had a first Gen Hsunami and an early Trans-K and they played fine, but I didn't care for the hit/feel. I don't think I've really been able to tell much difference in any of the solid KW shafts I've had. I suppose if you can tell the difference in ferule material on Maple, the same would apply to KW.
I was very happy with the Schmelke I had and wish I would have kept it, but I was determined to go to CF shafts and sold it along with many other wood shafts I had at the time. Now I'm going back to wood....
The Prather blanks I had were finished out by Reuben Fisher. The only "production" KW I have currently is a Jacoby. They are cored, but it is filled with balsa, so to me they have a little better hit/feel than the foam filled ones.
I haven't tried a second Gen from Hsu. I really don't know if the darker KW is much different that the lighter stuff, or if it's mostly just color that changes.
I have to say, from an appearance standpoint, the McDermott KW shafts that are listed on eBay look very nice and I've been tempted to pick one up, but so far, I've resisted that urge. I think they are only in 38/10 and McD QR joints.
Have you considered A Roasted Solid Ash shaft?
I remember back when Bergman first started using Kielwwod and he told me the blank came from Prather, I went on Jeff's site and saw them, but I've never really considered getting one. Not sure I want any more options....lol
