I couldn't agree more. I never claimed that I was the epert on any of these matters!! Not once. Go back and read it. Go back and read every post I've made in the last year or two. Nowhere does it say that I am an expert or that I even think of myself as an expert.

What you will see is that you CLEARLY think of yourself as an expert and your primary reason for believing so is because you spend a lot of money on cues. Dropping names and buying cues based on their price doesn't make you any more knowledgeable than the rest of us. If you can show us a degree of knowledge on a subject from time to time, you may garner a little respect.

Slam anyone and everyon on these posts? Hardly. There are a few people that I do care for. There are even some that I call friends. But I have a decent head on my shoulders and can sniff out bull-shit when I see it. When I do, yeah! I just may blow the whistle and point it out so that no one else steps in it!

You want respect? Earn it yourself. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine whether you respect me or not. Remember, I'm not the one looking to make customers out of the AZ population here. YOU are. You might want to prove yourself worthy of their respect.

I'll attempt to respond point-by-point but if my answers appear to make no sense, please understand it is largely because this was typewritten less legibly than a fingerless 3 year old with a base understanding of the english language.

1) I have no problem with someone making a profit on a product. What I do have a problem with is someone buying a Corvette and slapping a Ferrari logo on it so they can mark the price up considerably. If you ever want anyone to respect you as a salesman, you had damn well better be honest with the consumer as to what EXACTLY it is that you're selling. And if you're going to be careless enough NOT to investigate something's authenticity, then you really can't be surprised if someone calls you out on it.

2) Why should I have given Bill any respect when he has never shown me any in the past? If a man is disrespectful to me, why should I go out of my way to be accomodating to him?

3) I'll answer this one in two parts. A: Yes. I am looking out for the next buyer who may or may not be getting what he's is TOLD he is purchasing. B: If bringing this to light is none of my business, then your $.02 isn't really needed here either. Perhaps this thread is none of YOUR business.
 
Why can we just put this case to rest and let Bill sell his cue...i think both party have their opinion and facts!!!!..just move on and be happy..adn beside xmas is coming......:)

Hey Grassley, I told you to leave me out of it. I had nothing to do with this until YOU bought my name into it. Now you are just pissing me off and I told you I won't have any of it. Barry authenticated the cue for Mark and held the cue for years (he was supposed to do the work). During Barry's downtime (health issues) Mark gave the cue to Pete to do the work on. Barry may have bought some brass but I don't believe he made a shaft. Pete hand made the replacement pearl pieces in the butt, and did such a good job, you wouldn't know which one's they were unless you knew it before the work.

Hear the bed creaking upstairs.. do you know where the mailman is? Now thats just a little taste of the pounding you're going to take if you keep putting any reference to me in any post you make. I want you to think as little of me as I think of you, as if thats possible.

As far as your last two sentences, thats something YOU should remember.

I understand, some of your points are vaild. However, not having mabye the correct 2nd shaft is a far cry from having a Corvette and putting a Ferrari logo on it. If he was told that and talked to Barry that should be fair enough for him to come to a honest conclusion. The cues authenticity is not in ?. The meer second shaft is. Even if it was not Barrys shaft it would be easy to make right. IMO it does not warrant you bringing this to the table. That being said Pharo I would like to make very clear that I can understand where your coming from especially if in the past you do not feel Bill has treated you with respect. Also I in no way would hesitate to do business with you and I hope you feel the same. This is my last open comment on this unless answering a question. Just a difference of opinion. This world would be boring if we all thought the same though!!!:)

Seriously. You don't get it. You brought his name into the mix and, even after he REPEATEDLY asked you to leave him out, you keep bringing it up.

I never mentioned his name. It was all you.

Just think, this whoile thing could have been avoided if you had been a little more thorough with your 'expert', 'better than everyone else' opinion to begin with.
 
What I have trouble with is

Posters with NO CLASS.
You try to trounce Bill's Rep. You and Roscoe are two peas in a pod. You post things that should be asked privately to allow a clairity. You should just say nothing if you have nothing good to say. Nothing posted was helpful to anyone except people that try to goat Mr Bill.
I am no genius. 3 points short of it at 15. But I know bumbs when I read thier words.
I have a feeling many Azers are wondering as I am.
Please post pics of your cues you two. I think it may explain alot. Alot of time on your hands and no money to put where your mouth is!
As I said Bill is great. Roscoe and pharoe not. But on inside pool mag well you two are comical you know a big joke.
Well what you have done here is not funny and many of us are not laughing.

well the cue has a buyer because of this thread, thank you pharo, and he never would have seen it if it were not for you. and he can care less who made the second shaft or joint caps or if pharo likes me! :p keep looking and see what other stuff you can try to call me out on. I represent cues to the very best available to me and will stand behind everything i sell with my own money.to the ones who TRIED to attack me publicly go have a beer together and send me the bill for a round! better luck next time:p

You sure that's written correctly? Maybe you meant to say 3 points shy OF 15.

Surely a man with an Intelligence Quotient of 137 at the tender young age of 15 could have put together a more coherent response than this. Or at least been able to clean up the grammatical mistakes and typos.

My cue? Its a Mottey. Its all I got because I've sold every other cue that I've owned. I only need one to play with. Granted, I can't run eleventy billion racks like you so what do I know? (Aside from how to read and how to spell.)

As for Ross and I? Yeah! We are two peas in a pod. Actually, pea is such a puny little word. I like to think of us as two cocks in the hen house looking for trouble!!! Anyway, I'm glad you aren't laughing. This wasn't meant as a joke. It was meant to display a 'reputable' dealer's misrepresentation of something he was selling.
