What is the going price these days for Cortland and where is the best source to score some.

Try Pechauer. Jerry had some a few years ago. Use to be about
50.00 for 150 ft. But that was a few years ago. Heard of one of the big metal spools going for 1000.00. Just remember. 9 threads, 8 white and one green. Not green dots on one of the white threads.
So much better than todays linen.

Picked some up from Jerry about two years ago. Pretty sure I paid about $60 to $70.

Just curious, but why is it supposed to be better? I've never seen it before, so I don't know what makes it better.

Just seems like a better quality linen. Doesn't fray and I've never found a
nub or knot in it. Too me it lays much better. And the green specs end up in a better pattern.
