what would be the normal charge($) to get a 7' pool table re-felted and get new cushions on. Its an Old Fischer probably 30 years old...pics can come up if you need...

We will need to know what area you are in and what cloth you want if you have a preference.

That way a mechanic that services your area can respond. Prices vary from region to region, and from mechanic to mechanic.

I just got a (quite fair) quote for my 9' table in the Pac-NW for $350 labor (includes tightening the pockets), plus about $300 in parts (new K66 rubber, Simonis 860). I would say that $6-700 would not be an unusual price.

What kind of table do you have?

He said it is a Golden-west 9ft table (I have pictures in another thread). It is already in place, so he doesn't have to move it, but it needs the slates and legs re-leveled. He's even going to get it ready in time for my party next weekend :)

Price in Chicago

I bought a table and took it apart myself, took it home, and started calling around, them came the Heart Atack!

If I dropped my rails off at there shop, with my own cussions and cloth it was $250.
To assemble and level and put my own new cloth on table $200
The guy I bought the table from was going to do it him self so he had all the material.
I only paid $400 for the table and could not see paying $450 to setup
I did it my self with the use of You Tube and books from the library.
It took a week before i got the nerve but it came out pretty good.

Good Luck
