Does anyone have any Frank Costers to show? I've only ever seen the pics from the B.B.

Here are a few 'choice' Coster cues; you may recall a few from the BB. They are super rare, most stayed in and around PA until the collectible cue era in the mid-to-late 90s. Aside from maybe 30 or so fancy ones, most all were real plain....level 2 plain jane nose and butt, maybe a handful of inlays or very simple points. Total production was only about 130 if I recall correctly. They were all fine players, too.

Was he the one who shot himself in front of his wife's grave?
Kinda sad story about a maker.

Thanks guys. They're just so unique with the gear shapes and inalys on the point tips. I like barbells too. I had no idea there was only 130 made.
Joey that's a sad story for anyone.

Hope I go first

Franks House/shop Was About 15 Minutes From Me...... I've Heard Many Stories About Frank From The People That Knew Him. I Was A Little To Young To Care About The Cues, But I Did Meet Frank Several Times, At Two Local Rooms. I Remember He Would Come In, Sit Down, And Just Watch Players For Hours. Never Talked Much Or Bothered Anybody, He Just Enjoyed Being Around The Game.

I Also Have A Friend/customer A My Poolroom Now, That Has The First Inlayed Cue That Frank Ever Made. I'll See If I Can Get Him To Bring It In For Me To Take Pics Of It. The Owner Of The Cue, Was A Very Good Friend Of Franks, And Spent Alot Of Time With Him After Frank Lost Is Wife. The Story Of Frank And His Wife Is Sad And Tragic, And I Prefer To Not Go Into It.

I'll Call My Buddy And See What I Can Do.
