kornerpocket and quality cues connection

I looked at the bidders .. I recognize at least a couple of names, kornerpocket and 8ballstinger. I've done deals with them before and believe they are legit. They both bid pretty high on this one.

This was my tounge in cheek response to rackmsukr's thread which will explain a lot about the ebay practice of quality cue (Mike Gartland) and Kornerpocket (Dave in jacksonville, Florida). Mike Gartland has been discussed previously on this board, however in a phone conversation with him, I discovered that Mike is selling Dave's cues as Dave's broker, and when things aren't going where they'd like them, Dave always ends up buying his own cues when the auction gets below 12 hours, or you will see Dave (kornerpocket) always bumping the bid on Mike Gartland's (qualitycues) auctions.

It's a shame that they feel they have to do that. Dave is a good buyer on ebay, snaping up lots of pretty cues. Why Gartland simply doesn't list the ones' Dave has for sale in an ethical manner is beyond me, especially because this guy is supposed to be a lawyer, which means he has no excuse for not understanding the definition of ethics.

For those of you that are knocking SW's. You are just upset because you can't step up and buy one. Don't knock something just because you don't have the bankroll for it.

for some of us that have a limited amount of disposable income to buy/invest in cues...

asiasdad's actions or warning us about the situation is highly commendable....

and is not about stepping up....but being an aware and cautious consumer...ala 'caveat emptor'

keep up the good work Danny and my thanks
