countersink weight bolt

I bought some weight bolts from prather with the screw for the bumber. What size and degree contersink bit do I need to have these fit flush in the butt of the cue. I think I have seen 60 degree and 82 degree but not sure which to get or what size.

You can determine this yourself. One way is to just trace along the angled sides of the head of the bolt on a piece of paper, extend the lines, and then measure the included angle.

I have some bolts like you describe; the angle is 82 degrees.

Use your calipers and check the size of the head of bolt, I normally use a 5/8 counter Sink.

Just hold your countersink up against the side of your weight bolt. The one that fits flush is the right one.

I too think it will be the 82 degree one.
 
American thread machine screws have a countersink angle of 82 degrees included angle on their heads. Metric thread machine screws are 90 degrees. 60 degree countersinks are for lathe centers, not for screws.

These are the standards.... of course, if a screw is custom made, it can be anything.

RBC's advice is a foolproof method to know.
