Hiya Guys,

Just took delivery of my Coker cue from Guycrunch....and this has got to be one of the most INSANE pieces of Bacote I've ever seen. Some parts go so far as to look almost like Snakewood.....and it's really gorgeous in person!!

Just thought I'd share. I'm now a huge Coker fan! The feel and hit of this cue is fantastic....and I'm gonna need to get a couple more!! :)

Just felt like sharing. I know some of ya'll aren't big fans of this particular wood....but ya gotta admit....the cue is NUTS!!

That's cold, man.....you cut me deep on that one......

Nope...no photoshop work on the pics. That's the way it really is. It does kinda look like an ink-spill........but a very artistic ink-spill. :)

Look at my Avatar. That is my Mexican Cocobolo Coker I got last month. It is beautiful in person. Yes. Coker's hit great and look nice also...and I think your baby is really cute too....
Did you get it direct from Coker or a web site????

Thanks, Guy. I'm sure it will serve me well. Like I mentioned last night....whenever I get a new cue, I almost INSTANTLY get a feel for whether or not it'll be a player...or just something to work a trade with.

The Coker is EVERY BIT of a player. I like it even more than my Wheeler....and that's a bold statement.

ChrisOnline is absolutely right....Guy is a fantastic person to deal with. Super nice, super honest, and he really came through for me on getting this Coker to my specs. The fact that the Bacote turned out so gorgeous just made it all the sweeter.

I highly recommend dealing with Guy....and equally highly recommend getting a Coker cue. Despite some of the "quality issue" discussions we've had here on the boards....I'm here to testify to the fact that Coker has the ability to kick out a PERFECT cue from their shop......I just got one of 'em!!! :) :)

congrats on a finding a good cue................cokers are tough to beat for the money......................I have never seen bocote with that much of a redish tint to it.............nice cue

I have recently received a few Cokers myself. If you like the hit of their phenolic jointed cues you will love their Ivory joints. It's great. The construction of the cue is maybe the best that I have ever received from them.

lets see them please

Ivory jointed Cokers

Here are two of the cues that I received in my last batch. First cue 16 pointer Cocobolo into Ebony. Nice even points and nice veneer work and ring work on both cues.

first of all: thanks to all of you for really making me want a coker cue! :p
to the best of my knowledge, there's not a single coker cue in norway, where i live. therefore, my chances of trying one out to get an idea of how it hits and feels are rather slim. so far, my urge is based on the looks of a lot of cokers i've seen pictures of...
what (production line) cue brand would you compare it to? how's the balance? there are probably a few other relevant questions to be asked as well.....
in my current arsenal i have a predator p2, a predator special edition by j. pechauer, a schon stl15 and a jacoby b9, so i figure it's time to get a real custom.
what i have in mind is either a four-point or a six-point high/low coco into ebony or vice versa with a leather wrap... i'm not too sure yet. but i promise that i'll share pictures as soon as something concrete has come out of my dreams....
