Crazy Pool Table Story

While playing some 8-ball with a friend on my Valley bar box in my basement, the balls started not returning. I tried all sorts of things to jar them loose but nothing helped. Probably a piece of chalk I thought. So we removed the bands, the rails and lifted the slate. Sure enough... a piece of chalk was wedged on the track. I removed it and put the table back together. Now after about 45 minutes of messing around, I tell my friend we have to start all over and remove the rails and the slate again. Why?... Because I can see my cat looking at me from the ball window and I don't have a key! He jumped into the box without us knowing! We laughed for hours. We got the cat out safe. Way too funny.

I can relate to your story. About 2 1/2 years ago I was at a bar in Pennsylvania working on recovering them and converting them from red label to blue. It was to hot out in the truck to leave my 6 month old cat, so I brought him into the bar and placed him on one of the pool tables I was going to work on next, he was just laying there relaxing so I got to work. When I turned to check on him, he was gone! I looked everywhere but couldn't find him, u til someone pointed out to me where he was. He crawled down one of the pockets and was inside the pool table, but every couple of seconds he'd stick his head up from one of the other pockets, I couldn't catch him to pull him out. A customer walked by the foot of the table when the rack came flying out....he didn't know my cat was in the table, so he picked the rack up and put it back in the end of the table, and before he could stand up, it came flying out again. This time when he bent down to pick the rack up and put it away, he looked in the end of the.table and saw nothing but claws coming out of the rack holder....he jumped back, threw the rack across the bar in doing so and screamed...."there's something in that pool table....and it has claws"...the whole bar was cracking up laughing because they knew it was just my cat....but that guy didnt....LOL

Wow that just jarred a memory loose Cobra.

Not pool related but funny as hell. In about the 5th grade we had a guy with exotic animals come to our school. So they asked some kids to help set up in the gym. Well the animal guy comes in with an ostrich he looks around where I am I going to put this. He decides the equipment closet is a good spot and he goes back out to his truck.

So our gym coach nice lady in her 60s walks into the gym unaware of what is going goes right for the equipment closet. Opens the door turns on the light and gets charged by an Ostrich slams the door and is screaming in fear at the top of her lungs.

It was a funny sight to see
