My understanding was that Predator reached out to Diamond to develop that table with the idea of it being a joint release and then once Predator got all the technical information they needed they cut off diamond. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I heard
Yes and the Grand Rapids open is a much better pay back event. As long as he straightens out the money situation that happened in the last one when covid started. I think he's got a little bit of damage control to do there but otherwise I'm really looking forward to the event starting back up again

I wouldn't think so because it's a totally different table. Plus simply buying a table and tearing it down you'd get all the information you need really. I think they went with SAM from the start. But could be wrong. Never heard the Diamond thing.
Yep. That Diamond/Pred link is bs. SAM's are a metal-framed table. Not even close to how D builds their's.

Speaking of growing up, these organizations should grow up, and be more professional themselves.
Freedom of speech and expression of opinion should be I allowable as long as it doesn’t interrupt or interfere the normal order of business and is conducted in a civil, nonviolent and non-confrontational manner. Posting on social media, or the equivalent, as the orig. poster apparently did doesn’t deserve this treatment. Nonetheless, many organization have by-laws that specify rancorous, highly critical expression of disdain or disregard for the organization can result of suspension or permanently being barred from future participation. This doesn’t seem right but it’s America and things today just aren’t what they used to be. The OP should not have been banned for his remarks, IMO. Instead, he should be asked for more details.
CSI has the right to REFUSE SERVICE like any business, people being BARRED or BANNED for conduct is nothing new. Today everyone is offended, or a victim.

The CSI payouts are insulting to say the least.
If you win a division with <50 people in it you are paid $1000.
If you win a division with 200 paid entrants, you are paid $1000.
You also win the bonus of a 1099, so a third of that gets stolen.
The events can still be fun but keep in mind they exist ONLY to make them more money.
For the players, these events are "for entertainment purposes only".
No big loss if you cannot attend imo. Hope you agree.

Yep. anyone that gets into leagues looking at some $$ windfall will be sorely disappointed. its a 'funsy' deal that pays a little. very little.
Maybe they should change to Trophies, and not charge to be part of CSI Experience.
That looks a lot nicer than the cheap nameless plaques they award the winners.
i didnt read it all but right or wrong when you criticize a business in public they dont want your business and have every right to shun you. i would do that as well. plus it shows you don't stop. who wants that.
