I don't know if anybody caught it, but last night on CSI the victim was a pool player who hustled somebody out of 10 grand. Of course in the flashback, the guy was making trick shots etc...to win.
I thought it was great because there was pool, dumbed down for John Q, but still pool. The ONLY beef I had with it was that one of the clues that made them think he was a pool player was a callous between his thumb and first finger....
I don't know about you, but I've played a LOT of pool, for hours and hours on end, for years. I've been in action for 15+ hours straight. I've NEVER had a callous on my hand from the cuestick. Anybody out there ever gotten one? How rough would the cue have to be to cause this?
Cheers,
RC
