Ct. pool rooms?

I know a lot of pool rooms closed recently, but is there something in or around Waterbury-Torrington area. Thanks in advance. Just looking to practice alittle on decent tables while I visit my sister for a few weeks.
 
It's been a very long time since I've been in the pool scene in CT, but there was CT Billiards in Torrington...real nice place. Hopefully it hasn't shut down yet. Not so sure about arouund the Waterbury area.
 
About 12 miles east of Waterbury on I-84 takes you to Shooter's Billiards in Southington, CT run by Sal Conti.

Take the ride to Pool Table Magic run by Mark Kulungian. Great food, great bar and great service. It's a few miles north of Hartford off 91. In Windsor Locks CT

If he's not busy, get him to show you some cues. He has been an active collector and cue dealer for 30 years. he has pool history all over the pool room.

You should definately check out Shooters and Pool Table Magic. if you get time to go to Smitty's, they claim to be one of the, if not the oldest operating room in the US. I think that is in Mass.

The only room I ever played in Connecticut was in New London (shopping center near I95). Crown Billiards, I think.
 
If you want to play some, pm me. I'll get you into the exclusive Sunnyside Pool Room just 5 miles from Watertown. :thumbup:

that's where I shot for years before joining the military...great little room there. They take care of their equipment too.
 
I think Southington will probably be your best bet as I think it will be the closest to where you will be staying. There is also Worldchampionship Billiards in Manchester.
