CTE on a Snooker Table

I liked how he shot the video, with the line and the comments. Good quality and a decent camera angle. I'm not really strong in spanish, but with a little effort I could understand the comments.

If anything it shows how difficult snooker is, and that many factors must be perfect for CTE to work.

The thing is that like with John Schmidt's Facebook remark, "it works", the question is, is IT working...

or is one adapting there subjectively learned shot pictures & THEY are working while utilizing the starting points of the visuals.

The numbers don't lie. Even with a defined pivot in both directions there are only a limited number of angles based on what is objective.

The requirements of the game are such that that is insufficient.

Hence from where is that void filled?

I think you can see the point & the 'dilemma'.

The void is easily filled by knowledge of how vision is used with spheres on a 2x1 table.

This gap, this void in pool knowledge, can't be understood or experienced with conventional approaches.

Since you will never understand anything other than conventional, you will never have the pleasure of knowing and understanding what Hal knew.

I & others stay away from personal 'attacks' as best that we can where as some or most of the advocates of your aiming method, & lately you, almost always resort to personal insults or 'evaluations' if you would rather.

I would venture to say that IF I am not capable of understanding that of which you speak, then it is quite likely that 90% or more of the population would also be incapable.

That might make your 'system' useless to 90% of all pool players.

A rational, logical explanation is the simple solution to all of your problems with me & the others.

All you need do is provide such.

The fact that you have not done so, I think, speaks much louder that any 'evaluations' that you make regarding me to any neutral party.

Let me restate my comment.....You are capable but would NEVER and I repeat NEVER admit it, if in fact, you knew and understood CTE. You are too dug in to ever make it publicly to the other side of the debate.

One is not responsible for their IQ or deficiencies if one has any in those areas, but...

You say that your aiming method is 'an objective aiming system'.

Changing one's mind or not has NOTHING to do with one's honesty or dishonesty.

You've offered nothing, I repeat NOTHING, to give me or others ANY reason to change our minds.

I in no way turned my back on you as I made no commitment in any way.

IF I were to make the trip that you offered it was supposed to be because I was a neutral party that was merely intrigued & I would be neutral & unbiased.

I turned down your offer immediately due to my back issues & significant family matters.

So, "to do the right thing", as you say, would be to give my honest take & that is what I AM doing.

You and John Barton have basically said that AZB is of no importance regarding it. It has been said to be growing by huge leaps & bounds world wide.

You do not want what you say to be questioned yet you will not provide any rational logical explanation to support what you say.

John Schmidt had said that it does not work & no aiming methods work.

It seems that his friend has gotten him to change his mind, but that individual will not elaborate.

So, that leaves many questions regarding what is really going on there.

My mind is open to being shown that my determination is incorrect, but that will not be any easy task.

I & others need rational logical reasons to get us to change our minds.

So far that has not been presented.

I have serious doubts about anyone's pool-playing ability if all they do is sit here and argue about semantics and scientific analysis of every damn thing that could or would happen on a pool table during global warming or an EMP blast.

When I started on my book that may end up being a 2 year plus, 35G project....... I decided that it would not be logical to piece mill out every detail as I went along to the likes of you. Can you UNDERSTAND that? If you can't, then take a flying leap at a donut!
