It wouldn't be pushed aggressively IF the "other" side wasn't agressively trying to knock it.
But be that as it may there is a simple solution, look in my signature for the Super Ignore feature. You can just wipe out all mention of CTE from your forum experience with that plugin for firefox.

It wouldn't be knocked so hard if it was put in the correct forum. Maybe I should transfer all of my spam mail to the main forum. I'll just give it a different headline, too, like, 'spam mail a pool hack gets' or 'does viagra help make the money shot?', etc etc.
Why should I bother with the super ignore, I'm not the one posting sales pitches. Or, for another Office Space reference, "Why should I change my name? He's the one that sucks."
And they 'knock' it because it is touted like snake oil and the saviour of all mankind.

Yes, I'm aware that Pro-One will come down from Heaven to save us during the end days. I shouldn't have to filter out adults that claim to be able to use logic and applied knowledge. I've got a few people on ignore that add no value to the forums, but that is not the case here.
Public places? I live in Portland, where we are like a beacon in a toilet bowl for all of the scummy gutter kids living on their trust funds and panhandling. I have to put up with their shit every summer.. and yes, I'll give them a ration of shit now and then. Nothing like being approached by 2 people asking for money on my way home after working all day. Well, there is.. having a few rational adults take a crap in the main forum of my favorite hobby by endlessly posting about an aiming system.
If people want to keep tossing it out there, I'll keep taking swings at it..
That's up to you then. If you want to be part of the discussion then don't be upset when it takes directions you don't like.
Technology provides a way for us all to interact here and it also provides a way to filter out what you don't want to see.

Well the more you post the more this thread about an up and coming professional attributing part of his success to ProOne and Stan Shuffet stays current.
Given that so many knockers like to denigrate Stevie Moore and Landon Shuffet's testimonials and victories using ProOne then it's entirely appropriate for CTE supporters to highlight whenever a good player offers support for the method.
Don't forget that there would not even be a DVD to sell if it weren't for the incessant knocking of CTE and the tendency of the knockers to label CTE instructors as snake oil salesmen.
The knockers created the impetus to make the DVD. Now they can't stand it that it's out there for anyone to learn.

If that's how you see it, your opinion of how others see CTE is about as off track as is possible. He was going to create the DVD anyways and now people are sick and tired of listening to the infommercial that's become of it.

I wouldn't be getting all of his knowledge. I'd be subject to the edited knowledge that applies to CTE. Everybody's got knowledge. It is just a matter of finding the knowledge that you're best able to apply to your own game.

And try telling me that somebody that's been in his profession for as long as he has just ends up doing this on accident.
While there is certainly a ton more that I need to learn about position play I'm really not exactly a "bar hack". I'm a BCA and ACS Instructor. It's just that I am open minded enough to want to stay on the leading edge of new teaching methods and Stan's CTE/Pro One certainly fits into that category. It has improved my game. I am now suggesting to all my students that they purchase Stan's DVD and that I will try to help them if they have any problems with this new aiming system.
So yes I am a fan of Stan Shuffett because his CTE/Pro One aiming system has helped my game so I think it can help others. Nothing more and nothing less. Sorry you have some bug up your butt about the system. Maybe if you purchased the DVD you might learm somthing new about aiming. On the other hand with your attitude I doubt that it would work for you. Henry Ford said, "Say you can or say you can't. Either way you will be right." You appear to me to be a "can't" person what with even whinning about where you live. Did you ever think that if you don't like where you live to just move? Think negative and you get negative. Think positive and you get positve. Try it. It works, not just in pool but in life in general.
