How bout a real challenge like this one where you carom the 1 off the 4 into the 5 and the 1 goes in the side. Yepper I've done this shot.
BTW, all these shots are on a 9 ft table, you know where you have to reach at times and the ball layouts are such that you can not use any like what would be considered a normal stance. You know, like the cue behind the back shot.
Should be a snap for CTE right?
I'd enjoy hearing a new explanation about how x-angle systems work without feel. Got one?
LOL I know how they work, but feel is too vague of a description for me. You'd enjoy a new explanation? We're all here for your entertainment, I see. No, take two green pills and one red pill... are you color blind?
If you don't know what feel is, why are you arguing against it?

I'd like to know what aiming by "using visuals" means exactly. Isn't that what we mean by "feel"?
We've had lots of time to hear a "real" evaluation (you know, one that isn't a content-free ad). Suppose you point it out to me.Your hurried, limited evaluation doesn't begin to touch on the real adjustments in the system.
LOL. "Ulterior motives"? Such as?This is a callous, non-technical definition that has ulterior motives.
There are lots more readers here than me - lots more readers than posters, for that matter. And what they're all seeing is that whenever serious questions are asked about these systems everybody who's supposed to know something suddenly becomes too "offended" to answer....unless you can come up with something better to open a dialogue besides "feel", my answer is, "That ain't it!"

Why don't you just read the answers already given??

Here's your chance to counter my "callous, non-technical definition" with a non-callous technical explanation of how "the visuals" are used to aim. It is possible, isn't it?

Keep up the good work.

Yet here's another hundred-word post in which you b!tched and moaned but somehow, inexplicably, yet again, never quite got around to "expanding on" it.Mikjary:
Getting your eyes in the correct place to pocket a ball is the system goal and should be expanded upon. Not trivialized with a blanket statement to throw off possible future users.

What an incredible coincidence.

LOL You mean there are other people reading this sh...debate? Keep pushing the intelligence button and now it's the out of control button. You'd make some lucky guy a wonderful ex-wife. Did you filter the gist out of my last post or are you still stuck on "feel"?
Since there are allegedly other viewers reading this NONSENSE, I would like to hear if they "feel" that the alignment adjustments in pivot systems are solely "feel". I don't think so. That's too broad stroke an analogy for me.
Cte uses a distinct set of visual cues to set up the proper alignment for each shot. This is a definite physical process and produces the answer for each shot angle. Calling it "feel" is a poor substitute for a highly developed method we have developed since birth to gather information about our surroundings.
John P. said, "What you see is what you get". Stan claims that with using the proper visual set up, the body will follow. Getting your eyes in the correct place to pocket a ball is the system goal and should be expanded upon. Not trivialized with a blanket statement to throw off possible future users.
When you're wrong, you're wrong. If you don't want to take the time to productively explore the system like LAMas, AtLarge, John Pierce, and many others are doing, don't negatively try to throw a wrench in the threads. Contribute (that means move things forward) or sit back and watch. You're a big boy. Now go ahead and line by line and attack this post by adding nothing. SOP. LOL It's so easy to tell other people how uninformed they are because you're Patrick Friggin' Johnson, The Professor, A Big Deal On AZB. You're the man behind the curtain. I get it.
Best,
Mike
The really sad part is that some posters have read his posts on other topics, and have rightfully given him respect for them. Unfortunately, his posts on this topic are complete B.S. Occasionally he brings up a valid question, but refuses to hear the answer, the answer has to be what he wants it to be, not reality. Plus, he gets some kind of satisfaction out of being contrary and trollish. His main goal is not to help people improve their game, but to gain attention at any cost.
