Cue Finished. Spalted Maple and Curly Red Narra. Before and after finish pictures.

Here is a cue that is almost finished for an order from a friend of mine.

The cue is 61" long with the butt being 30.5" and the shafts are 30.5"
It is going to come out around 19.5 oz.

It has a radial style pin with phenolic joint and buttcap with brass and Narra Rings.

It has four Spalted Maple points into Curly Red Narra with Double Black, Maple, and Double Black veneers. The grip wood is segmented Spalted Maple with the same rings in between and has a Curly Red Narra Butt sleeve.


I'm going to put Sabre-t ferrules on with Kamui black super soft tips.

These pictures are before finish and I will upload more once it is complete.
There are also pictures of a matching jump cue that will come as well.

Nice look

That is a good looking cue. The first time I saw the spalted wood being used, i was not convinced I liked it, but the more I see it, the more I like it. I will be interested to see your final product with finish. Thanks for sharing.
 
That one came out great! I was leary at first with the first set of pictures ;) but it came out beautiful!!! Great set you got there :)
