Seriously though, its very possible that somebody commisioned a leatherworker somewhere to make it. Looks like its made ok, whats the inside look like?

Not bad, I would rate the leather work about a 4 or 5 out of 10. I stick by the idea someone comissioned a leatherworker to make the case. Nice!

I would have to leave it to the experts to decide but I think Chuck has a very solid theory.

That's a sound theory. Just judging by the basic construction of the case, it looks like it was someone's first go at case making.
