I have a cheapie hard tube 2x2 case. I dont like it too much but it works for now while money is a little tight.

Im looking for a 2x2 or a little bigger thats not going to break the bank (think under $200 if possible), needs to be able to keep my cues from banging around, have a pocket or two, I prefer just a plain outer color...

This would be for my league gear so nothing fancy.

Any input or thoughts?

desertshark check out the "Piggy Back" cases at Seybert's. You cat an get a 2x4 for $54.95, or what I would suggest, is spending an extra $10 for a 3x5.

A teammate of mine had one of these, my impression was that it was a pretty good case for the amount of money that you pay. Its got a side handle for hand-carrying and a shoulder strap, you'll see some reviews on the site.

Your cue collection will grow as you continue to play pool, i'm glad I got a larger case when I only had one cue like you.

Try entering APARULES for a discount code...I think you'll get 5% off and free shipping. Let us know what case you choose!

Thanks man! Right now I have my main play cue, break cue and waiting for a bdcue shaft for my back up butt. I want to get a cue built then collect a few more. I figure as long as I have room for my break cue and main player I'm fine. If I bring too many cues, I'll be over thinking my playing.

I'll definitely check out the piggy back tho. Thanks again.

I believe the gf got me the 5280 2x4 case for Xmas, looks good well see how solid it is when I get it as far as the cues staying put and not rattling

I'd go with the Sterling with the ultra pad interior listed in the previous post by JMW. It's basically an economical JB case. Tim (mrvmax) always has them, usually in different sizes and he always has the best price. Great guy to deal with too.

Hope it helps.
