I have an older Instroke Vinyl from a few years ago...the fit and finish is just not the same on the newer cases!

The case have undergone changes from 1995 until now. Some folks feel that the ones from 95-2001 that came from the Czech Republic are better and others feel that the ones from Taiwan are better.

The ones from Taiwan are technically a better and more protective case. The ones from the Czech Republic are a little "finer" in the feel.

I guess it's like comparing a 66 Mustang to a 2007. Some like the old style and some like the new.

I don't have anything to do with either Instroke Germany or Instroke Taiwan now. So it's not my call. The ones from Taiwan that I have seen are done pretty damn good in my opinion though.

In either case they are the best on the market for that style of case.

I voted for Whitten, but a better all-around choice would be Zero Haliburton ... Not exactly beautiful, but bullet-proof for protection from everything except thieves ...

I like the way Porper used a new approach that is effective, the hard foam lined with felt. A good value as well. All those mentioned have earned their respect out in the hard old world, so pick the one you like the looks of, or fits your budget best.
