cue cleaning.....

I carry the dry ME with me and use it dry every couple games, followed by a couple passes with a towel and then burnish w/leather about 25 strokes. I cut down a ME to a thickness that is easier to carry so mine is about 3x3x1/2.

If I don't get that done then after a playing session I'll dampen the ME w/denatured alcohol and rub about 5 passes, then 5 passes with 1000 or 1500... whichever is handy, then 25 to 50 passes w/leather to burnish.

i use water every other time i play no problems.

Exactly...but everyone always seems to think that some q clean shark oil granola butter avacodo extract magic eraser is going to work better or be better for their shaft. OMG and that damp rag is gonna put a bow in my shaft!!!! 30 year old cue thats always been whiped that way straight as 12 oclock high. Go figure they wouldn't just K.I.S.S. as if the best players from the past didn't know what the they were doing or something. Where's JAM at, hey what does Keith use to clean his cue shaft? Maybe they'll listen to that and stop breakin bread with Mr. Clean.
