Cue companion replacement belts?

Hi,

Does anyone know if where I can find replacement belts for a cue companion lathe. I know I can get some from Unique, however, Im in a crunch and would like to try some places local.

i went to local company that carried O-rings. the guy gave me 10 of them and said "ah, just give me $2" :) i gave him $5. i'd be glad to get you some, but the place closed up and moved to dayton ohio. i can't remember the name of the place either.

how about?

Many bearing distributors also sell O-rings out here. And you may want to check with a vacuum cleaner repair supply, some of the belts may work!
 
Thanks Chris and olsonview for the great ideas! I will stop by a few stores on my way home from work and see what I can find.
 
forget about the vacuum cleaner belts, I'll save you alot of time I spent trying to run one down that fits....O rings baby are the answer!

Are you having trouble contacting us (Unique)? Or are you trying to source them cheaper? If you want to buy them in quanity, contact me... If you want them quickly, I can ship them overnight.

Hi Jim,

Im not having trouble contacting Unique, as at this point I have not even attempted to. I did, however, get the pricing information off of your website and found the belts to be 2 for $19. My last belt is cracking badly and I wanted to see if I could pickup another belt for under $20 locally. If in my search I find cheaper pricing then thats good, but this wasn't my intention. I found a place locally that makes custom O-rings out of urethane. Im going to check this place out today to see if they can make me a similar belt. If not, Ill be contacting you shortly to place an order.

Cue Companion Belts are $4 for package of 2, this is a typo on the website...Thanks for pointing it out. Jim
 
Thanks for the clarification...I doubt I will be able to find them cheaper than that. I'llprobaly get 1 locally here and order a few in bulk from you. Should I call you directly to place an order?
