I have read a few posts talking about copying a traditional design, but I think Jamie is talking about trademark design elements that identify a cue as such. Some examples below

- McDaniel peacock cue
- Modern Gina(about everything he designs lmao, ridiculous but true!)
These are breakthrough designs that have inspired many different spin-off designs and ideas which is great for custom cues in general. I voted against copy cats because custom cue's are called that for a reason, they are custom and unique to each cuemaker! Do you enjoy seeing Gina designs being replicated in china?
With that being said, I have no problem with a tribute as long as it is represented as that.
