Anybody know of any programs I can download or use to design a cue? Ive seen the one on dave jacoby's page, but that can only do four point cues, Im toying around with the idea of an 8 pointed cue with four long and four short overlapping points. I want to see it with four ivory points. What I can't figure out is which would look better, the four longer points as ivory, or the four shorter as ivory. Should the points overlap or not? Maybe some bridged points? I also want to toy around with some veneer ideas and some forearm wood ideas. Anybody got anything that will help before I resort to microsoft paint? Thanks

You could use SolidWorks!

It costs about $4000.00, and you would need a couple of years to learn how to use it!

Yea, what you looking for would be great, but I don't know of anything out there.

You have a cpl options

http://sketchup.google.com/

pretty simple programs there

or you could use MS Paint...its simple also and free

you could go to a torrent site and download CADD or Solidworks for free...but that would be illegal and we dont do that... Solidworks is more complex and not needed for what your wanting

I downloaded CADD last week and designed a cue that a cuemaker is going to build for me and it turned out he said just as good as he could do it
