i really have no idea, that's why i was hoping to find something that would allow me to experiment. that flash one is best so far, but i can't see different point designs with it. (2,3,4,6, etc)
[after playing with the designer for a while]
i'm pretty sure i want an ebony forearm with cocobolo points, not sure if i want 2 with red-black-red veneers, or 6 alternating high-low (I've seen those on other cues, i like the look of them, but i don't know how it would look with my options). in playing with the rings on that site i like how the a and e ring matching and the c and d match - but different than the other two looks - just a bit of eye-candy really.
it's pretty basic really... and i could probably find something close to what i want in the value section of a cue store, but i want a quality built cue, i just don't want all the fancy (and unnecessary to me) inlays, ivory, jewels and everything else that jacks up the price. i'll also get a new OB shaft for whatever cue I get anyway, so...
i wish the crown cues site had a visual version of their estimator tool, since i'm going with them eventually.
