Anyone using a polyurethane brush on finish and if so tips would help.
When I started I used ZAR High Gloss poly. It came out smooth and stayed shiny for 8 years so far. Down sides: yellows because of the oil, takes a long time to dry/ finish a cue. Upsides smooth chip resistant fills grain nicely.bob_bushka said:Anyone using a polyurethane brush on finish and if so tips would help.

I used a foam brush to apply while the lathe was turning and then used a different brush to evenly spread and smooth the product. I felt that all I had done was get a good seal on the surface, I didn't get much, if any, product build up. It did dry crystal clear and took on a nice shine.
