Cue "Grasp"

To each his/her own... I'm only 5'9" tall...according to the USN.

But I LOVE a LONG cue. I hold it at the bitter end..the butt. A 60" cue would be nice. Finger tips only. "Loose" wrist...FLUID...followthrough... That's the "other" side of grasp...do U throttle it like U R choking U'r chick'n, or do U soft-hand it home?

BUT there are many greats that shoot a "forehand" game as I call it...Luther Lassiter...

"Throtle it like youre choking your"...ahem. That's an interesting way to put it. I prefer the loose grip...on my pool cue.

I grip the cue with my thumb, index and middle finger, with full (light) 360 degree contact (no air)...ring finger and pinkie dangling, ala Ronnie Alcano's grip. I use a wrist snap on most shots, not as much as Bustamante, but definitely there. I've spent almost the last year fine tuning it, as after a long lay off I was having problems snatching my cue on firm strokes, twisting and getting unwanted lateral tip movement. Works great now, I'm shooting my best pool ever.
