Cue holder help

Anyone mind giving some suggestions?
Been shopping around for a cue holder to work at this pool hall.
Picture attached. There is a lip there but then a rounded edge. and it goes down pretty far. so I am having trouble figuring out what to order that will function here.

Q-claw has worked for me for many years.

You can try the Predator or Tiger Cue holder they are weighted. I prefer something with a little weight to it.

Same here, Q-Claw works for me. I've bought or given tons of cue-holders, but always come back to Q-Claw for practicality.

Q claw will work and use coasters or something else to offset that lip.

Rounded edges on a table doesn't really affect how a Q claw functions.

Ah actually yes. that was my main reason for asking what people thought. cause theres only a small lip there to catch on then its rounded.
And not like a normal table you can clamp onto. because theres like a 2x4 length trim going down.
Seems like most comments are saying Q claw will work in this case.
It isnt like these things cost that much. was just trying to buy the right tool before going there and thinking, well shit. this doesnt work.

Good to know. Light and compact.

I try to take care of my cues but every league night it seems like there is someone who is likely to knock cues around. If there is carpet on the floor, I put my cues under the pool table.

Just don't try to clamp it down too tight. The bracket will snap in half. Trust me.

Cut yourself a piece (equal to the length of the holder) of 1"x2" board and put under it.

just glue or screw a piece of rubber along the rail. it will keep the cues from slipping and be out of anyone's way.

Thanks for all the input guys. after seeing multiple types of q claws and brands at the pool hall tonight i know that will work there.
Because of the size and shape of the tables, i do not think the clamp styles will work with 1x4 trim going down the side.
I'll be ordering a

Went with the Billiards Buddy and Q claw. i ordered two cue buddies because it is a small company, and i like the colors. both types work fine.
Although i think the silicone ones work better to be honest.

I hated my Q Claws because of how much room they took and weight. But they are very sturdy. I just got a Super Shot I think it's called. Seyberts has them but you can get more color options if you buy direct. Plus cheaper shipping.

I'm a fan of Colorado Cue Rest. I've got an earlier model and love that thing.

I was going to say q-claw but i really like this one. The only isuse with the qclaw is the size, if the case has smaller pockets it can be difficult to carry. This cue rest seems slim and easy to carry.

I'd have to weigh it to be sure, but I think it's about half the weight of a 5 cue Q-claw and 3/4 the depth or less. I believe it's the same depth as a 2 cue Q-claw is wide.

I bought this specfically to go into a JB 4x8 case with a jump cue pocket. Works very well for my use case.

Yeah you can hang it anywhere. on the stools. back of a chair. I think it will work well in the long run.
