cue holder...

what is the best cue holder when out playing? i am looking for one that is for 2 cues but dont want it to be to bulky..i want to be able to put it in case pocket...looking for something really secure to keep my tad from being knocked over...q claw just makes me nervous...thanks for all the help mickey carroll....

I have found that the best holder is my case. Find something to secure your case with a clamp to keep it from falling over and put your cue in it when not using. With any other holder other players will lay their cues against yours and beat the crap of out it while doing so. Keep the one you are playing with in your hand or the table when racking and the other assembled in the case.

The only one I've found that actually holds the cue in place is the Porper. Do a search on ebay and you'll find them--pretty reasonably priced. I've been using one for over two years with a number of different cues, and it does not mark or dent the shafts at all. The cue is held securely; accidental bumps will not dislodge it. It folds up and fits in the large pocket of my Talisman case without any bulging against the side of the pocket. Highly recommended.
