I came across a really solid well built cue but the cue maker is unknown to me.
The logo on the cue was a little white diamond with the letters "RJ"

Do you have any pictures you could post? Was the white diamond in the butt sleeve? Let me know, Thanks R.

Here is a photo of the logo

Now that was funny!!!!! We all need that kida laugh!!!

Please explain yourself.

Just because I am not familiar with the cue maker does not mean the cue is a piece of crap, It has a nice feel and balance to it.

i think he is referring to the singer rick james....

in the chapelle show skits, they made fun of rick james and also had eddie murphy's brother , charlie murphy...

and i guess with your name being J murphy .. they kinda put two and two together...

This is one obscure cue. I have tons of literature and no logo like that.

Does it seem like a foreign cue? I would guess custom from overseas since nobody recognizes it. An odd joint screw might confirm that.

The screw does look alittle odd but it's 3/8X10 The 314 2 Predator shaft that is with the cue screws right down on my new Hunter cue.

Another possibility you have to realize is that the "RJ" may have been the owner of the cue, not the builder. I've had customers who asked me to put their initials on cues I built them.

It does look like a US made custom cue to me (bar cue conversion) - that looks like the joint screws sold by Prather. Otherwise, no help, sorry.
