ive bought the cue
i know many here sell antique items of 3k+ worth every week, but for me this was like more then i wanted to invest, but the deal was to good to pass bye.
The cue was sold by a french man who had gotten it as a part of a heritage. there where other old billiard items for sale, but this cue was the masterpiece.
and probably my best investment in antiques untill now. (i wont tell the price, but lets say, it wasnt even close to whats it worth.) i will post pictures when its in my posesion.
now i have another question:
When ill be building my house with the poolroom, ill be building a glass cabinet built in the wall to expose my antiques. Now i know lightning and temperature can be very damaging for cues.
What advice would you give me on the lightning? is it best to use led lightning? non direct lightning in the cabinet? no lights at all? how about the temperature, normal humidty in a homes, etc. Should i suround the cabinet with extra insulation?
