I just got this Jump Break and was told it was a Huebler, there is no markings, but the female in between the forarm and butt has an insert which may help in ID. Also age and make what it is worth once shaft is cleaned and a new tip is put on. Thanks for the help.

Huebler shaft for sure, I don't know if the j/b's have a black bumper or not but it could have been replaced.

that insert is in between the jump break screw part. the shaft has regular brass insert. it has black bumper

I wouldn't says it wamt a huebler.
All of the j/b hueblers I have seen have the double thread between forearm and handle

Hueblr Break Jump

The first Break Jumps Paul built, both pieces had the standard 5/16x18 nylon inserts in them. Wasn't until later that the dots were added and the pin was changed. in the 2 butt sections
that shaft isn't an original Huebler shaft, if you need any other info let m know
and the bumper could have been black or red but they were the same the one in the pic isn't original
