Cue identification....Abe Rich? Rich Q?

Was sold as "Vintage Abe or Sol Rich Pool Cue". It weighs about 22.2 oz, is 57.5 inches in length, has a 5/16 x 18 joint, and the tip is about 13.2mm. The tip is pretty hard, so not sure if it just hardened over time because it is so old, or if it is actually a break tip? What do you guys think? Thx in advance.

I sold you this cue on ebay. It has a nice feel. Butt has slight warp. Local cue builder and repair guy, Greg Sowder, was sure it was a Abe or Rich cue. Was leaning toward Rich Q.

Oh, hey! Thx for the reply and for selling me the cue. I like it, might use it as a break cue? I am still researching about Abe Rich, Rich Q, and related cue makers. Would be nice to find cue catalogs by these makers.

I've looked for but not found much printed info or catalogues from that late 60's-early 70's era, other than Brunswick. Most info is in the memories of older forum members.
Link to another Rich Q. Very similar

Nice cue...! It's not an Abe Rich for sure... Could it be a Sol Rich, maybe... But I think it's too new to be a Sol cue... That being said, I'm leaning towards it being an Isaac Algaze era Rich-Q... He owned the company from about 1970 until he sold it to Imperial Billiards in 1980... At which time Rich-Q became "Rich" cues and were made from 1980 until they seized production of all Rich cues around 1982...

Note: I had also thought that this cue might have been an early Viking (Barry) cue, but after thinking about it more... I changed my mind...

Acquired another Rich cue. Came with another less desirable cue, but both for $106.00 plus shipping. Its in the mail/transit so have only seen pics. Appears possibly unused.
