Cue Lathe Tool Post Finished and Ready for sale!

I have a whole pile of 0.675" empire cutting blades. Just need a machine shop to shave off that 0.175".

Everything else I Have and make myself.

Fox, do you have paypal?

Anyone wanting extra holders with their order, I will substitute holders at a discounted rate in place of the blades/ blade holders as well.

The cut off blades are made from the same thing an end mill is made from. Tool steel doesn't cut tool steel unfortunately.

Since these blades I have are finned and have a complicated cutting geometry, it makes them harder to do. A vice must be mounted down to the surface grinder via the magnetic table and all the blades have to be shimmed on each side to allign them up properly.

I sent you a PM, some time ago and you must have missed it. I believe you owe me one tool holder.
I ordered 5 extra so it should have been a total of 7 holders. I got 6.

Other than that, nice QC post.
 
I'm still waiting on 2 holders that I paid for 6 months ago.....

Does anyone know if the tool holders for the QCTP that Chris Hightowers sells will fit Prestons post?

I'm still waiting on one he shorted me also. It's ok though, I have a daughter that lives near him, so the next time I go visit I will also pay him a visit.

Terry, I have a PM that looks suspiciously like yours, I wonder how many other peope were shorted parts that were already paid for?

I finally got around to ordering some stuff from Chris Higtower today,
Including some tool holders......

Get home from work and there are the two holders from Preston.
I'm glad to see them, I'm going to have an extra or two now :)

Anyone have an extra cut off blade?
I got a holder from Chris Hightower....his tool holders fit prestons post btw

Just need a blade now....
