Dude, really?

A whole new thread, saying exactly what any of you other most current threads say? How about supporting those threads like you say you will support your product. There are several legitimate questions being ignored by you in those threads. If you want to sell lathes here, you're going to have to do better than that.

^^^^that is an excellent point. I didn't see the duplicate threads.
 
I like the way it folds away into a case and he also offers a 110 -220 volt option.
 
I personnally think he just dumps his ad on here then moves to the next venue, does the same, etc, including ebay. Otherwise he would have at least responded to peoples questions in the other 4 or so threads he has started. It gives the impression of a driveby salesman...

I spoke with Bassel over the phone and he was more then willing to answer all my questions and seems like a man that knows what he's talking about.

Why shouldn't he introduce his products this way if its the best way he can come up with?

some of the posters here remind me of the guys sitting at the cheater bar watching the gamblers and pontificating about how the guys playing are choking cause of the bet. These guys never miss a ball from that bar. But they don't make any either and they aint making no lathes either.

I wish you well - you have some inovative ideas and you're taking a shot at something thats more then most of us are doing.

I personally do not care who he is, or how long you talked with him, the forum is for those who offer something to the membership. While selling here is part of the over all picture, using the forum to advertise for free and doing nothing else is not.

He should contact the moderators if he wishes to post an Ad for all to see, they are not that expensive and I am certain he would receive more positive feedback than he has here.

By the way, I do have a question for you, are you and him the same person using different accounts because I think you are Trolling?

I don't know if you are joking or not, I'm not sure what trolling means either, It seems to me that he's not doing anything a number of other folks aren't doing in this forum. If they have paid for their "ads" then of course that is different otherwise seems like he's being treated a bit unfairly to me. I thought I was allowed to have opinions and the right to share them here. You made it abundantly clear you don't care about my opinion and thats ok with me too.

If your point is he should post somewhere else I won't argue with you but your reaction seem a little defensive to me.

If you really think he and I are 1 in the same lets make a bet, I'm sure there is a way to prove it or in this case disprove it .

I will admit I have not the experience here that you do and if he fails to do something else he is supposed to then I don't know about that.

As I said maybe your response is an attempt at humor maybe at my expense if that is the case I hope you get a laugh out of it.

The only beef I have is that based off of his prior threads, once posted, become orphans, with no support or answers to the questions asked by others. There are enough sellers on here that operate similarly, and IMHO, it gets old. That's all. I have no need of or opinion on the lathe. It may very well be the next best thing, but I question the amount of support one will receive if the OP can't even support his threads. I was simply pointing out that the OP should take these a little more serious if he plans on making any sales here.
